How do I keep a robin out of the biggest Homebase store in Ireland?

This could be the Tenerife Forum's biggest challenge to date.

We have a resident robin which we can't shift. Yes he is cute but he sets off the alarms and I am no.1 on the keyholder list so I am not a fan.

We can't shoot him cos he is a protected species. That would also rule out bringing in a cat. We have a 2ft. plastic owl which works a treat with pidgeons but the robin is not that stupid.

If we chase him out, he comes back in as soon as the automatic doors open again. He has water and for food he has the entire birdcare range to choose from not to mention crumbs from the coffee shop.

Any ideas folks?

OLD GOLFER! It's a lovely little robin. Cheeky little things with character.

Change the alarms so they're not movement sensitive, Michael???

Create a bat cave. When Robin enters it, slam the door shut!

Alternatively, contact your local pest control officer.
