What book are you reading at the moment?

Are there any other bookworms here? What are you currently reading and would you recommend it to other people?

I LOVE books. New or second-hand, paperback or hardback - it doesn't matter. I have just finished "Ugly" by Constance Briscoe and thought it was fantastic. An extraordinary story (based on a true story) of a young black girl who was constantly abused (physically and emotionally) by her mother but who found the strength to take life into her own hands, working different jobs from a young age and then going on to university to study law. It was a disturbing but encouraging book, one of those you can't put down!
Highly recommend it

Sounds like a good read if there is any book you want that you cant get out there that i can bring over in June let me know. Last books I read sounds like the same sort of thing the boy was abused as a child but it was 3 books in one. Great books but really disturbing story written by David Pelzer about his life
A child called it

I have read these too, they are absolutely gripping.

I am reading Secrets by Lesley Pearse at the moment, this is the fourth book of hers that I have read, they are really hard to put down.

Have also just read Alice's Diary by Vernon Coleman, hilarious read for any cat lover/owner.

Probably not a very popular one but, I'm into autobiographies, and could not put down "The world according to" Jeremy Clarkson. I loved it so much that I brought the second volume too! If you're a times newspaper reader you'll love his witty remarks on just about everything really!
