How do the Tenerife Forum members deal with getting a pile of old rubbish for Xmas?
There's an amusing report HERE about how to deal with unwanted Christmas presents. Did any Forum members get any presents this Christmas that they didn't want, but had to pretend to like? And how do you do it?

Well I always seem to get different categories of presents. Some are thoughtful and I am pleased that someone thought of me Others I tend to place in the "I would have never bought that" category. Regardless I believe it is important to show your appreciation, even if it means wearing that sweater that is 3 sizes too big and is less than flattering. It is a gift afterall!

I didnt get a present that I didnt want, so I was very lucky and spoilt this year!!!!!

i had some wonderful presents this year and like them all except one which really isnt me at all.Its one of those evening shawl type things and whilst its very pretty i will NEVER wear it.It was bought by a Canarian and i know that they do wear this type of thing.Never the less i said it was lovely and of course its always the thought that counts.

My sister used to wrap her unwanted presents back up and give them so someone else the following year. She got a bit caught out when she tried to give me a present that my mum had given her the year before!!!!!!!
