I need a drink after taking the car through the ITV.

I've just experienced my first drive through a Spanish MOT test hence my need for a drink . I was petrified and I was just a passenger. Does anyone else hate having to do this?

i agree but i have found the guys at the ITV station at las chafiras really impatient. i am pretty fluent in spanish but when it comes to technical terms related to cars, i am somewhat lost and they have had to repeat things twice with me when giving instructions and you could see they were impatient. i, too, could have done with a drink after my 1st time, lol.

My husband is fluent in Spanish and he still struggles to understand the men, the speakers are not faced the right way and are not loud enough. He has a tough time too, so you are not alone. !!

Like most of the above, I hated it. Although pretty ok at Spanish, I don't know the vocabulary associated with vehicles, why would I ??? Ended up panicking and one of the guys got in the car and took over. Felt like a right Charlie when I'm really not. Would not do it again, would rather pay somebody to do it for us. I have sorted out buying property, getting mortgages, everything to do with the town hall, all in Spanish and managed absolutely fine, but the ITV, no way, zero points on that one. Well, you cant win em all.
