Thank you Cazten et al for a wonderful Christmas day

I spent my first Christmas in about 30 years as a singleton this year, last Christmas was not a good one for me, but thanks to Cazten and a few others (you know who you are) I had the best Christmas day in years.

So a huge THANK YOU to all concerned.

I completely agree. I think it's wonderful to create an extended family for a short while at a time when people are aware of being alone more than ever, and to create happiness instead of loneliness.

yep.... there are so many singletons in Tenerife, it's good to take a couple in each and spread the family love

We were more than happy to have a few extra, after all if you're gonna have 3 or 4, you'd be as well to have 5 or 6

No really, it was lovely to have my special guests for the holidays.

We knew many more that would have probably been "at a loose end" over the holidays, but this year, we had to draw the line so to speak..... It would have been great to have both the room and the budget to welcome all the singletons we know. But I'm sure they were welcomed by other members of the "Forum Family"......Hey! That's why we're so bloody brilliant

Happy 2008 everyone...........I wish you and yours every happiness for the coming year.

Now, do I go to the Elton John concert or not

Only 'cause I can't be doing with standing up - or sitting on a blanket - the old arthritic knees/hips/spine etc etc...... would object!

And I haven't got a ticket yet either!
