Advice needed about my job please.

I have been working for my company for 9 years and having been selling Avon for this lentgh of time my manager has told me off on the 12-11-07 she has been there for 6 years so why 'pull me up on it now?'

What is he/she pulling you up on exactly? maybe the company policies have/are changing.

so you work for X company full time and in that time you sell avon.Well although its been going on for years its wrong....sorry.Your employer is paying you and is entilited to have your undivided attention throughout your working / contracted hours.Perhaps her superiors have changed and they are pulling the strings, either way just do it part time....ie in YOUR OWN time no somebody elses.

its easy for CAb to say that but it will depend on how big your employer is.Perhaps you should just stick to your main job or esle you might find yourself out of a job .These days often employers are looking for easy ways to get rid of people when times are tough.

What exactly is your full time job?

i dont think you will stand a chance as you are being paid to be a catering assistant and if your earning more money using thier time they have a right to discipline you , technically you are stealing time off them, sorry..........
