Aw man this sucks. I come home from work today, and after my friend asked me to give him back a plug socket part that's in my wall, I thought I'd try to remove it to give it to him tomorrow. It's a very long story about the part that he needs from it, but anyways;
I touched the plug socket and it send a power surge through my body. My fingers stuck to the metal piece for a few seconds then threw me to the floor and made me really nauseous.
I'm still in pain now, my whole left arm is numb, I can't use or feel it at all. I'm in real pain. I'm prone to being electrocuted though - It's my biggest problem, as I'm clumsy with electronics (even though I studied a major in it in college and got good grades) I'm still clumsy.
I had a fish tank full of water one time and actually (believe it or not) put a water pump (to oxygenate the tank) in the water while it was plugged in. (They're not meant to be fully submerged, well, the one I bought anyway, found that out afterwards) it blew me away, literally. Took me ages to recover from that. Silly old me.
But right now, my arms killing me and I have chest pain too. Might go to the hospital tomorrow if my pain doesn't go. My body aches. OW!
Have any of you electrocuted yourselves? (In stupid ways? I mean, who puts they're fingers in broken up plug sockets?!...oh yeah, me.)

oh cups, aren't we all sometimes within our blond moments? fortunately it never happened to me, but i am a master in bumbing into things and get bruised..i always end up looking like being battered.....
Yes, Cuppy, did a very similar thing years ago. Got home later than planned and found that the main light bulb had blown. Needed to find the lamp which I'd unplugged being safety conscious .... but couldn't see the socket, so felt for it ....
Was flung the whole width of the living room, arm numb, chest pains, etc. It goes, but it takes about a day or so.
lol, that actually reminds me of my sis' husband, who is an electrician...he once reconnected a bedside table lamp which was faulty and in order to make it work, you had to switch on the socket ...or something similar stupid..well, i think she can tell more
I really cannot wait to hear OG's comments on this thread.

Mmm, why do I think that the words blonde and sisters together will play a prominent part?
Or women and technical.
