Does anyone know where I can get chewable children's toothbrushes in the UK?
A friend of mine has told me that you can get toothbrushes for kids in the uk that are similar to a stick but with bristles all over the end so that small kids can just chew on them and they clean their teeth really well.
They are apparently an excellent starter for kids to learn how to do their own teeth and I was hoping to pick a few up when we go back at xmas.
I have looked on boots, superdrug, mothercare, amazon and ebay websites, but I can't find anything like described.
Does anyone know if these are available and where I can get them from?
Over to the UK members...

Hi Kirsty. My shop is next door to a Dental practice and also a Pharmacy so I will check them out for you tomorrow. If they have them I could send them to your Crimbo address for you.

Thanks. I just wanted to know if they are available and where... if they are readily available all over the place, then I can pick some up when I'm back, as long as I know where to go... alternatively, I can buy them online. Just need to know what they're called!

Hi Kirsty, Neither the Dental practice nor the Pharmacy had even heard of them. Looks like 'batty em' has found your best option. They seem to be similar to the vending machine type available now in restaurants and airports. Good Luck
Our local Chinese restaurant in the UK has them in a vending machine in their loos! My kids love them!! They cost 50p each and come in a plastic round ball that you break open.
