British Airways is to further increase fuel surcharges on flights later this week.

From Thursday (November 15), surcharges for medium-haul flights of less than nine hours will go up by £10 per one-way flight to £48, and by £15 to £58 for longer journeys.

Short-haul flight surcharges will rise by £2 to £10 per flight

There was a news article last night about how BA were flying EMPTY planes from the UK to America inorder to retrive crew that were needed for other flights.

How does this square with the fuel surcharge?

I should hate to see the size of that route planners Carbon Footprint
