after just having watched " secret millionaire " which always has me in floods of tears at the end , i got wondering if you would spread your wealth if you were in that position ..I always prefer to give than receive because it just gives me such satisfaction.... how about you

i'd rather give than receive. it really makes you feel good, last week in tenerife i was given a special gift from a really special friend. something that i will never part with. so although it is good to give, it is also good to receive too.

Personally I prefer to give as I'm always embarrased by receiving gifts. That doesn't mean that I don't appreciate them.
As soon as I saw the title of this thread I thought about kajo Don't worry he's off line at the moment he has no internet
I would much rather give a gift that receive one, exept for birthdays and xmas

I didn't see the show last night, but I remember the last series. These millionaires really got to see how the other half lives, but I bet they felt great when they could help people who really needed and appreciated it.
I would love to be in a position to help people, with my first big lottery win i'd see friends and family ok then put some aside for us then give the rest away. What's the point of too much money? What a waste!
