Do you have any superstitions? What are you superstitions? Do any of your superstitions(if any) rule your life?
Mine are, if I drop a knife, I will not pick it up! somebodyelse has to. I will not walk under a ladder. If I spill salt, I aways throw a piece of it over my left shoulder.

CROSSED KNIFES AND FALKS ON A PLATE same salt problem as you paul, yep the ladder thing to, SHOES ON A TABEL

dont know weather this is superstition or an obsessive thing but my friend HAS to lock a door or window at least twice before he is happy that no bad luck will come to him!!! he has done it for as long as we can remember. its a nightmare if we are going out and running late!!!

everything! Magpies, new shoes on table, umbrellas being opened indoors, see a penny (or is it a pin? never sure so I apply it to both and now not pennies but cents!!) pick it up then all day you'll have good luck. Not returning back to the house if forgotton something, raining at funerals, washing clothes on new years day, let out the old year and let in the new, black cat crossing path but never know if that is good or bad! don't tell me any new ones or I will use those aswell!

Graceylacey don't ask me where you are supposed to put keys, it's a man thing I know where I would like to tell him to put them sometimes
It's not just HIS keys though. If anyone comes round our house and puts keys on the table or he goes anywhere and there are keys on the table he takes them off. He doesn't care where they are put as long as it is not on a table, his keys are normally on the side in the kitchen

Definately the Magpie thing... i always salute them, the number 13 in everyday things, eg i won't have volume on TV/Radio on 13 it would have to be 12 or 14, drives my hubby mad. New shoes on a table...just can't do it. Lots more not sure if i'm superstitious or obsessional.
