I am at home for a few days so have stolen my daughters laptop so that I will not be cut off. I am finding it quite hard going, no mouse, keyboard flat, differnt layout etc. Expect i will just be used to it when it is time to go back!!!!!

You'll get used to it Mac Infact I use a lap top in the house and a normal pc in work and I do prefer the lappy every time

If you find it easier to use a mouse & have a spare one, then you can usually just plug one into the laptop.

I use a laptop and find it strange to use my husbands PC,its the mouse which gets me it moves too much I am forever moving it back onto the mat.The best thing about a laptop is I can sit on the sofa with it on my knee or take it in the garden when the weather gets above freezing.

You will get used to it... I used to have a pc and changed to a laptop a couple of months ago... found it very strange to begin with.. but now could'nt be without it... it gives you so much freedom.. being able to sit in the comfort of the sofa or anywhere else that takes your fancy...

I've had a laptop before.. I love them. I could take it anywhere in the radio station, my office, my bedroom, the studio, the transmitter hallway.. and surf the internet. It made doing work alot easier.

The only downside.. most laptops aren't quite built to handle the abuse desktop's get.
