try windows restore to before the error.

re-install kodak easyshare software.

remember to back up the folder with the photo´s in it first.

do not store photos or anything really in the files that the program uses but use the windows folders designated for them i.e. photos or music in my documents or make your own folder.

Hi.

First, sorry you've encounterd this issue.

Second - The data will probably still be there and recoverable so long as you do not use the computer. If you need help with data recovery contect Welsh Sprout, if he's too busy contact me and I'll see if I can make the time to look at it for you.

I assume it's a computer and not a laptop.

robby 1234 thank you for your response in the matter , i have already done the windows restore and its stil the same , i had put some of the photos before in a folder but i never seemed to get around to sort the others out, when i used the kodak easyshare the pictures automaticly go into the easyshare section , so i have never backed them up as you say first and to be honest i wouldnt know how ..thanks again fe

harlequin thank you as well for responding, i have used the computer but only to try and sort out the problem and to no avail, the oly thing i have done is what robby1234 said was to restore before the error , i have not tried to reinstall kodak easyshare incase something else happens, i have heard that when some things get lost they are stored in the computer somewhere very far inside , but i just use the computer for normal use and its a computer not a laptop thanks fe ,

goto start-search(the name of one of your photos) if search finds it the rest should be in the same folder.

transfer the contents of the folder to one on your desktop.

you should now have access to your photos but not with easyshare or kodak.

can you see them though(the pictures that is lol)

if so open them with picaso or infranview or something like that and then save them to an other folder.

i.e. file-save as bla de bla
