The Scottish Contingents' Tenerife Forum Thread.

The Scottish Contingents Tenerife Forum Thread I think its time we had our own thread where we can discuss the Scottish Prospective of Home and Tenerife..things close to our hearts like the weather, Football, Pubs,Politics,Food and all things Scots even Music Here

I come From a small Village outside Ayr on the West Coast of Scotland called Alloway where Robert Burns the poet was born, in fact I still own a house 200mtrs from the cottage where he was born Here

I know there are many other Scots on the Forum so lets hear what's happening at home or do you need to know something Scot's related in Tenerife, of course Sasanacks can Post but be careful we will out number you on this Thread.......

Smile hi old golfer sir

i live in a town 10 miles north of dundee called carnoustie. we have just had the open here again this year. my house is on the edge of the golf course so as you can imagine we get pretty busy here when it is on. i do like coming to tenerife as you know it gets real cold in scotland in the winter. i am lucky enough to get over at least 4 times a year. i think your idea is a good one

Thumbs up Are you sitting comfortably?, then i'll begin....

Although I usually claim to be in Glasgow, I actually live 10 mins from Glasgow Airport,in a village called Elderslie (don't expect the sassennachs to have heard of it).

At the mo, i'm sitting in my home office looking out to a beautiful sunny autumn day, just finished my bosses accounts, just about to start studying for my exam next week.

Apologies for not living on the golf course, but my husband plays at Cochrane Castle in Johnstone and he plays off 5.

Oh, and for all of you who don't have access to it - I had haggis for tea last night - yum.

OG you read my mind, the other posts this morning got me thinking about a Scottish thread!

I'm originally from Glasgow City Centre, but have not lived there for the past 6 or so years...
