The drivers probably need updating for your sound card/device. Find out the name of it and do a search on the net for vista drivers. BE warned... you might find that there are no drivers for vista though....!

I'm not sure how to get the device manager up in order to find out what sound device you have for vista, as I've never used it... but Welsh or Robby will be able to help on that score no doubt.

Didn't Mike in Chayofa have a problem like this only a short while ago??

EDIT> Don't know whether it will help at all, but have a read through here ... it might be that there's an easy solution.

I've now merged this with the thread on the same subject that you posted earlier. Please don't start more than one thread on the same subject. Thankyou.

Talking

you need your drivers disk that came with the pc or the sound card.

or if you are on the internet goto device manager and update drivers when it ask´s to go on the internet to find drivers click this time only.

it should find drivers for it if the sound card is less than 3 years old.

hope this helps.
