Hi Guys,

I have a Webeye DigiView Home Security System fitted. This is one of those systems where you can go online anywhere and see what's happening in your home.

Obviously the previous owner disabled the system, and left me with the details of the guy who fitted the system, so that I could get him to reset a new password to gain entry, BUT..........and you know what I'm going to say.........the guy who fitted the system is no longer around.

Does anyone know any techies who would be able to help in resetting the password on this system please?

I found a link to a Digiview 4 manual which mentions a default password of 111111 and a way of resetting the password by pressing the pause button on the DVR 6 times. My copy/paste function isn´t working so I can´t paste in the original text

Just a shot in the dark - I can imagine how frustrating the situation is!

-edit- The copy/past is working now:

Select “PASSWORD CHANGE” - The default
password is 111111.
Enter the requested data.
NOTE
FRONT PANEL BUTTONS DEFINITION

means “0”
PASSWORD CHANGE
CURRENT PASSWORD: -------

NOTICE:
WHAT IF I FORGET PASS WORD?
If the password is mislaid or forgotten press the (∥) Pause button 6 times, which
returns the DVR to the default setting(11111).
The password can then be changed again.
