Have a look at the list of the world's top ten richest men. Becks isn't even in the same league. But I do admire him for the money that he's made.

Although some friends of mine who were in Monaco for the GP did comment that the bigger the yacht, the more girls there were trying to talk their way onto it.

You'd be amused by my 20 year old daughter's attitude to wealth. Her boyfriend's family are seriously wealthy but she is singularly unimpressed.

BF asks her if she wants to go to Scotland in their boat for lunch (we live in N.Ireland). Her reply? 'Nah, it wrecks my hair'.

BF asks her if she fancies a trip around the area in their helicopter. Her reply? 'Nah, i'd rather just chill out on the ground'.
