Smile I'm very happy today because I'm getting a work bonus! Have a nice weekend everyone!
Just thought i'd post a thread because i am vvvvvvery happy today!
At work we normally get a yearly bonus of between 6 and 9% of our salary but in February we were told we wouldnt get it this year because of a problem in another part of the business meaning the company had underperformed.
well............Yesterday afternoon we had a year end presentation meeting at a hotel in Jesmond with a free bar and BBQ. When we were munchin on sausages and pouring Corona down our necks the boss suddenly stood up with a bottle of champagne and said it had been decided we WILL get bonus afetr all! woop woop!! Its a 6% bonus so not quite as much as normal but it certainly pays for my holiday in Tenerife so im very very happy (and hungover) today!
