I've got a mobile phone and it only gets switched on when I'm out of the house or expecting a call.
I went to Spain for a couple of months a while ago and topped up my pay as you go with £100 ... expecting that to last me at least 3 years.
My mate and his wife who lived in Spain kept texting me, needlessly - to be honest - or phoning me 'just for a natter'.
Anyhoo - I'd been there about two or three weeks, tried to phone them
( with an important message ) .... no credit!
I went absolutely ape s*** when I found out that
I had been charged for receiving calls!!!
How the hell did they get that rule passed??
