I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself in Antrim, although speaking from a ladies point of view I can only tell you that there's a great fashion outlet there called Junction One! There's also a couple of new hotels built there which I presume your employers will be booking you into, also it's very near the International Airport. And if you have a car you can drive up the Antrim Coast and stop at the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, Portrush, Portstewart, etc. or indeed go in the train if you want to have a few drinks!
Enjoy yourself.
Regards.

That would be me I think. Antrim town itself is like any other. Once out of it, the area is as described by givemeabreak. Do the tourist thing and you'll probably enjoy yourself. And I dare you to cross the famous rope bridge

Well I have been working for a few days in Carrickfergus, Belfast each week for a while now but it looks like I am going over for a month soon. I have been staying at this hotel called the clarion, really nice and modern. BUT, qwhen I go over for longer I am staying with a colleague of mine in somewhere called the Dobbins Inn....doesnt quite have the same ring to it as the Clarion!! Anyway my colleague has been staying there for a while and he has just told me that when he was there last week the landlady told him Derek Agorah and the most haunted team are going over to do a speacial on the hotel next month!! They have to be bloody kidding me!! .........so Ive gone from staying in a posh(ish) modern hotel to sharing my duvet with casper and co. Wonderful....

I am from County Monaghan which is not in Northern Ireland but is in Ulster. We live right on the border and often go up North as my Mum lives between Portadown and Craigavon.
I have often worked in Castle Leslie which was also filmed by most haunted.
Enjoy your time there I am sure you will make loads od friends
