I need help connecting an Apple Mac laptop to an Epson printer via USB

Hi,

Can anyone help me with this please? Went all the way to the Apple store in Santa Cruz only to find it was only a reseller not a genuine Apple store and the one guy that knew anything about them wasn't there.

I live in Palm Mar and will be around until 28 July.

Thanks in advance

Rick

Hi Rick, check the Epson website

Here is the link:

Epson - Support

There should be a driver and any other software you might need. Just type in the name of your printer.

If you bought the Epson complete with software CD, you will have a driver for the Mac. Alternatively, get the driver from the Epson website as previously advised. Install the driver, plug in the printer and off you go. There is no rigmarole involved, it is as easy as that.

Apple - Mac

Click MAC at the top then look for " Anatomy of a mac "

or search Printer and your programs will be there to download for a Epson

Hope you fixed the printer issue but wanted to ask where you went in Santa Cruz. There are a few places that sell Macs but the main dealer is Banana Computers. They are a Premium Apple Reseller and know Macs inside out and back to front. They only sell Macs and Mac related stuff. There are several people there not just one. It even looks and feels like a mini Apple Store

The problem with too many Mac "resellers" is that they sell the kit because they think it's hip and trendy, but they don't offer the support. PC World was a prime example of that in the UK.

In the end that is why Apple set up their stores and they have been a huge success.

Hi Rick

Banana is on Avda Santa Cruz (used to be called Avda General Franco). It's on the left going down towards the port and is some way down just past Hospital La Rambla. It's samll but perfectly formed as they say LOL!
