You'd have to give us a clue when you're getting them

Generally speaking, these errors are on the website you are visiting and are the result of malfunction code at the website. They are a pest and you can chose to close the pop-up error message and continue or go elsewhere.

Are you saying that you are getting them all over the internet?

Can you post a link where you get an error?

Albatros is correct. It's usually the fault of the designer if you get errors like that. I thought you were getting some on here, hence why you asked!

    Good.

I use both IE7 and Firefox.

I am still a bit confused as to why the browser would make a difference though other than the fact that Firefox fails to report a 'broken' site. That is why I was keen to have an example of an offending site.

In IE7 you can turn off Javascript notifications:

    1) Menu: Tools - Internet Options
2 ) From the resulting dialog box: Advanced Tab
3 ) Look down the list, and make sure that the 2 check boxes ¨Disable Script Debugging¨ are CHECKED.

    Thanks Torrenter.

I should have made that call! I need to see the errors when check out sites so don't block them.
