Right... have booked flights and hotel for me and the bloke for this one now.
Got the hotel for 60€ for the two nights... that's a double room too, near to Sol station... (so close to the Kebab shop, Alf Arrow) it's actually at the Sevilla stop and is only 7 stops from the stadium.
If anyone wants the name of the hotel, put in a private helpcentre ticket and I'll PM it to you.
Flights worked out about 35€ return each.
Just been looking at the tourist 2 day metro bono... it's about 8.50€ and that includes all buses, metro and airport supplement for the metro. Might be worth getting... dunno whether Zone A or zone T would be best though... what are the zones on the metro?
EDIT > It's 8.80€ for 2 days, and a zone A is fine

Unfortunately clashes with work commitments (anyone fancy standing in for me at the South West TUC Annuall General Meeting ???) but if the match is on the Sunday I might just be able to make it.
I took my parents to the match there in our 2000-2001 promotion year (the only time Dad saw Tenerife although Mum has been to a game since) and we won 2-1. I've also seen a couple of other games there and enjoyed going to the stadium.

Great news last night as Atletico beat Valencia which 99% certain means that the Atletico vs Tenerife match will be played on the Sunday. Remember with the new tv deal it could have been played on the Monday night (and we all have return flights to Tenerife for the Monday morning)
The Thursday before (April 22nd) Atletico play Liverpool in the semi-final of the Europa League. They will surely rest players for the Tenerife match a few days later. CDT will have a week off and Atletico will be inbetween a big match.

Rayo Vallecano are playing at home that weekend, if it is on the Saturday I will probably go.
