Arrow The prices for the 2009/2010 season will be released Monday July 6th

The prices for the 2009/2010 season will be released either today or tomorrow. The prices will rise but it is not sure just how much at present but the President has been quoted as saying "They will not rise as much as everyone thinks"

Rumours are that the hike will be anything form 10% to 40%. Share holders will be able to purchase discounted season tickets (abonos)# and there could be discounts for Fan Clubs including Armada Sur.

Remember that there will be NO new season tickets for sale at our end of the stadium - GRADA POPULAR. There will just be renovations.

The sale of "Abonos" will start next week and if anyone is interested please PM me as I will be organising the season tickets for people in south who do not know what to do/where to go etc.

#Shares: You can buy a share at the club offcies in Santa Cruz and they cost 60 € each. You can just walk in and fill a form in. It does take about 9 months to get the official certificate. The advantages of having a share are that you get a discount of atleast 60€ on your season ticket and this is applicable for the rest of your life. So basically in one year you have covered your costs.

Have you seen they have a new button on the web page. It still goes nowhere but I have only checked it 1000 times since they put it up yesterday.
We are planning to be there the first day of the sale in the queue before they start but thanks for the offer.

Re: The prices for the 2009/2010 season will be released either today or tomorrow

Oh dear!

I have been keeping an eye on other CDT fan forums and one the "Zonablanquiazul" has a leaked document they claim that reveals the season ticket prices.

Well, everyone is up in arms for sure. I will not put on the prices until they are confirmed by the Club but put it this way if they are true there will be a large protest organised. They are talking of a rise of about 60%!! on most season tickets. Ridiculous if true and fans will not pay it.

One thing is the season tickets for Armada Sur and The Frente hardly rise in Grada Popular but as you know there will be no new season tickets allowed there.

Re: The prices for the 2009/2010 season will be released either today or tomorrow

We all have to remember that we are now playing against teams similar to playing in the English Premier league. We will also see the reigning European Champions and they might even be the world club champions by the time they get here. 185e (No Discount) last year so even if they go to 250e or 300e all though the latter might be to much. I am not sure of the prices in the Primera as I was not here 8 years ago but the tickets for the top 4/5 will be about 40e per game so when you think that way. We do get cheap football here but that might end this season. The 3 away games I was at last season it was 20e each and I believe the Zaragoza game was 35e. When I was in Seville the guy there said he was a 1000e for a season ticket .If we want to see the top teams we will have to pay for it.

Just a wee guess by I reckon the price for any area apart from behind the goals must be in the region of 700Euros to1000Euros,but most probably near the top end of that range.

Re: The prices for the 2009/2010 season will be released either today or tomorrow

I dont know the prices for other clubs in La Liga but just to compare these are next season ticket prices for clubs promoted to the Premiership.
Burnley: €441 to €539
Birmingham: €444 to €684
Wolves: €643 to €734

We do get quality football at a lower price, lets just hope the powers that be are gentle on us.

Re: The prices for the 2009/2010 season will be released either today or tomorrow

I did say in my post that season tickets for Armada Sur etc. ion grada popular will hardly rise according this source.

We are looking at no more than 200-210 euro for the whole season.

Okay everyone the story is as follows and I think it is correct what these fans have done.

One of the most popular Fan Forums the ZonaBlanquiazul published a list of prices last Wednesday which they said were the prices that the Club were going to charge. It was never official information as CD Tenerife are holding a press conference next Monday 1.30pm to explain the Season Ticket campaign.

But this fan group have now said that they had an idea that the Club were thinking of upping the prices by 60 odd % so they made up these prices to generate such a fuss by the supporters that the club would be forced to drop prices.

The club officies have been inundated with fans complaining, radio programmes have recieved many calls etc etc. they say all this will force the Directors to think again before the campaign is announced as it will be embarrassing to alter prices afterwards.

It is a good or bad thing this Fan group have done?

This is a hard one,,keep fans happy by lower prices means less money for quality players, which in turn may mean relegation,,,or higher prices and more quality of player being brought in,,,chance of survival.

Re: The prices for the 2009/2010 season will be released either today or tomorrow

The club got a good deal for television so they have some money. They are pushing shares sales for he season ticket discount and finally need to think do they want the stadium full or not. I would have thought it was better to charge a bit less and have the stadium full every week, in principle what you should get if you sell individual season tickets. Or do you just want to make more money. I have already heard from several sources that they plan to sell the seats for the Barca and Madrid games more expensively (single seat sales). Which is their good right don't get me wrong. That is fair enough but the fans who go week in and week out need a break.
