At last! CD Tenerife have a new scoreboard!
CD Tenerife have at last installed their new state of the art scoreboard!


After many years of false promises by the Cabildo it is nice to see that the "latest" technology keeps us up to date on all the games statisitics and action. See photos.

I love it !!!!

Good job the state of the art technology seems to have broken down before showing the final score though - that would have been too depressing.

The work for installing the real new scoreboard has started.
Diario de Avisos -sábado 13 de diciembre de 2008-Decano de la Prensa Canaria


State of the art video scoreboard will be in place and working we have been told in time for the match against Sevilla Atletico on Jan 4th.
It will be 52 sq meters and the action will be ralyed live to the screen during the game. Replays will be shown but not of dodgy refereeing decisions (so that cuts out 86 minutes of play then)

Also before the game and at half time the camera will pan around the stadium and embarrasingly catch fans picking their nose etc.

I cannot wait to see it (not the nose picking bit) we have waited years for this at the Heliodoro after the old scoreboard konked out back in 1999.

Good present just in time for "Reyes" and it only cost 320.000 Euros.

Great news! At least if you miss a goal due to rushing to the bog, you will see it replayed and not have to wait for the highlights on Todo Goles when you get home!

The "Mighty Potters" also have a new scoreboard - was just in trial mode when I saw them draw 0-0 with Fulham yesterday and so just had the club logo on it. I'll have to compare them but the CDT one sounds good.

One thing about waiting for so long at both grounds is that they should, hopefully, be state of the art and have good quality screens. Some of the older ones are now looking a bit dated.
