Looking to rent property in the area Alcala to Playa de la Arena in Tenerife

We have been threatened physicaly by our Landlord! Does this happen often in Tenerife? We are looking for largish finca, house, apartment, for long term rent Alcala /Playa de Arena area

any agents who deal with this also get in touch please

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

As mentioned in the subject we realy are in need of new accomodation for a few mths in Alcala, playa de arena....Very Soon

We have again be threatened by our landlord with 2 guys and a pitbull dog to vacate the property tonight..it was very frightening.

He even threw a huge boulder at the gate and broke it.

We do know our rights but we have heard of our landlords crazy behaviour of the past... we know denouncias won't work.

He wants us out and we want to leave however the problem being...

2 dogs &cat and need 2 bedrooms and access to the internet. Of course we would like the property to be decent.

Anyone out there on the forum that can help. Our daughter is so happy in the village of Alcala so don't want to up root her and move to far away...maybe San Juan again!

    Thanks

Can you believe this man even turned off our water...we cannot even flush the toilet.

I also think that our landlord picked up the boulder to crash down on my car...but one of the lads with him cried out not to, so he changed his mind last second and threw it at his own gate which he wrecked.

Forgot to mention a month ago he came and completely wrecked all our things on the patio causing 100s of euros of damage.

We feel so powerless...If we had of called the police a) they would have arrived too late. b) our landlord would have said our dogs attached them. Our dogs bark but do nothing. his pit bull was very agressive. One of our dogs was sick while they were here as he was so upset with all the aggresion.

We realy have not caused this reaction. He wants the finca vacant so he can sell it. Fare enough...We have said we are leaving, but we cannot find the right place straight away to move to because of our animals.

We feel we should not be intimidated...but we feel we have to find anywhere now to live becasue this man is a loose cannon and I need to protect my wife and daughter.

Thank you Zarion and his forum for the space to rant...We do love tenerife...even if it has its up's and down's

Phone the Guardia Civil. It is illegal to disconnect a tenant's water regardless of any rental or contract issues. They do act.
