The way I see it is that when they are talking about me, they are leaving some other poor soul alone who maybe couldnīt handle it. But like you say this is extreme.................and not funny. Rumours like this can cause a lot of distress. Simple rule that should be followed by all.
ENGAGE BRAIN BEFORE OPENING GOB!!! 
The other week someone was asking me if it was true about a guy who had died (maybe the same one you are referring to not sure) and this guy was distraught at the news, but then I put two and two together and assured him it was someone else who had passed over, it was just coincidence that they had the same nick name.............. Panic Over!!
