i was wondering the same thing about womens football, and it seems we are in the same position, i used to play for england i retired nearly 3 years ago and i am looking for girls teams to coach and also maybe get involved in a team myself when my fitness is up to scratch...i have been doing some coaching in adeje at the campo de futbol over the summer and i have asked a few people but no one seems to know about womens teams... also i wanted to find out if cd tenerife had a womens team affiliated to them and girls teams right down to u11's. it seems that womens/girls football is an area that could be greatly improved. maybe we could be the one's who kick start girls/womens football off on this island! somebody needs to do it. coming from the uk where there are now thousands of womens teams its seems a shame for the females of tenerife to miss out. also thanks (spanish teacher for pointing out the teams, i will check them out.... |
