| Just opened an account today with Halifax - they were advertising in the market. All I needed was passport and driving licence, I took my NIE number but they didn't want it. All the staff speak excellent English and because I have an account with Halifax in the UK all transfers to the account here are free!!! I also get a debit card so no more charges for spending my money out here. There is a 25 euro annual fee but you get access to english telephone banking etc. Really friendly!!!! |
