I do not personally know what keywords & phrases are included as yet, as it was only implemented the other day. I will ask in the mod section later though and let you know.
I would presume that it's only other fora and key phrases to do with selling porn or rolex, iphone, viagra etc that we often find in spam that comes on the forum. Regular members don't get to see the spam, as that is auto-modded too, however we get loads of it
Being so high on google for even the keyword 'tenerife' means we get targetted by a lot by spambots.
It is strings of words as phrases, rather than individual words though, as some spam words can be used quite harmlessly in posts & PM's and this is the only way to differentiate using automatic measures between real spam and normal conversations.
Personally I welcome the measure, as it prevents people abusing the forum for personal gain - which is ultimately not what the forum is about. We still get the odd thing slip through though, as there are current investigations underway of people harvesting emails from members and sending out spam advertising via this method, so if you don't want any spam in your inbox, please make sure you email address is not public in your options. This also includes MSN, Yahoo Messenger & Skype too.
We try our best to prevent it, but there still seems to be some slipping through the net.
