Me being me and wanting to test out some of the competition i sent a 1996 Renault Clio into a main agent for an estimate to get the emissions down for itv,I had a phone call from said garage asking me to call down.So off i went without my normal Ashro t shirt on.The garage manager came over and tried to explain that the car needed lots of work doing to it.After he had reeled off a list of jobs that needed doing (some of which had already been completed before the car went in) i just happened to get 1 of my cards out and the look of shock on that mans face was so amusing
.So i took hold of the estimate (see below) went a paid my 42 euros for the privelage and off i went.Moral of this story is always get a second opinion when it comes to car repairs.
Best of all the same garage have been canvassing our area today charging 53,50 for an oil change with the coupon,Does this include filter or not or is this another hidden extra?
