IMHO the food is not worth paying for anyway (on a short haul journey), we always take our own food when flying to Tenerife.

Anyway back on topic, it seems all the budget airlines are charging for hold luggage these days, we flew to Dublin with Ryaniar last week & decided to pack everything as hand luggage to avoid paying, then discovered hand luggage is 10KG max (unlike Easyjet where it is unlimited) and of course you cannot take any liquids with you then such as toiletries. We ended up having to pay £20 return for a suitcase.

So our £4.99 each way flight cost us about £50 together with taxes, baggage charges, credit card charge etc
