if you're coming to your own apartment and you have stuff there already then thats doable, but if you're coming to hired accommodation of any kind then its as Maxine says, its another cash cow for the airlines, with the new security measures theres an awful lot of stuff you need that you must now put in the hold whether you like it or not, and now the airlines all seem to be charging for that....its no coincidence in my opinion, and it all adds up to the cost
